These stunning gates at the new Shoreditch Academy required automating – but being over 1 tonne per leaf required some specialised equipment and careful installation.

Perimeter Automation worked with the fabricators at an early design stage, so that the gates so that they would be ready to accept our automation equipment.

We fitted heavy duty hydraulic arm operators, rated for 100% cycle duty for continuous use.

Safety edges, finger guards and infrared sensors were all fitted to ensure our gates are safe for the students, and compliant with current UKCA BS-EN12453 and GateSafe guidelines.
