St Paulinus School in Dartford recently underwent a range of safeguarding upgrades, including fencing, pedestrian and vehicle gates. The entrance gates required full automation and the school requested full access control, all of which was carried out by Perimeter Automation Ltd.
The gates are fully controlled by a Paxton System, enabling visitors to enter with either fob access, PIN code or by dialling through to the school via video intercom. We also provided and installed a computer and software to run the gate access control in the school reception, giving the school complete control over who enters the property.
An additional pedestrian gate was fitted with a self closer and a maglock, with a further Paxton video intercom.
The vehicle gates are fully fitted with safety edges, finger guards and infrared sensors (photocells) to ensure our gates are safe for the students, and compliant with current UKCA BS-EN12453 and GateSafe guidelines.
